These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cloak mobile application (the "App") provided by SoftSky Technologies ("SoftSky", "we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using Cloak you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be legally able to install apps and manage Screen Time settings on the iOS device you use. Cloak does not require you to create an account; all settings remain on your device.
Cloak uses Apple’s Screen Time and FamilyControls APIs to hide or reveal apps at your request. Features include managing hidden folders, location-based Safe Zones, Decoy Mode, and optional passcode/biometric protection.
You are responsible for any real or decoy passcodes you set. They are stored securely in the iOS Keychain and cannot be recovered by SoftSky. Enabling Decoy Mode does not replace your obligation to comply with applicable laws or platform policies.
Subscriptions auto-renew via your Apple ID until cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Pricing may vary by region due to currency or taxation differences.
All purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple Support. When necessary we may share usage details with Apple to help resolve a refund inquiry.
Cloak relies on secure services operated by third parties:
Your use of Cloak signifies acceptance of the terms and privacy practices of those partners.
Cloak depends on Apple’s Screen Time infrastructure and network connectivity. Hide/unhide actions or Safe Zone automations may be delayed. We may suspend or modify any feature, or limit usage, to maintain the service or comply with laws.
All trademarks, graphics, and source code associated with Cloak are the property of SoftSky Technologies. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
Cloak is provided “as is” and “as available.” SoftSky disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of measurements or automations, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoftSky will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of Cloak. By using the App you agree to hold SoftSky, its employees, affiliates, and partners harmless from any claims resulting from your use or misuse of the App.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Cloak at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, misused Screen Time permissions, or engaged in unlawful activity. You may stop using Cloak at any time by deleting the app.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our service or legal obligations. We will notify you within the app or on our website before the new Terms take effect. Continued use of Cloak after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SoftSky Technologies is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
